Volunteer with JustArts Gallery

Join a community rooted in creativity and care.

JustArts is building a team of volunteers to support our work to uplift incarcerated and formerly incarcerated artists through connection, collaboration, exhibitions, and events. Volunteers will work together to build a supportive network for the artists we serve and for each other.

We offer in-person opportunities for Tulsa-area volunteers and plenty of ways for remote volunteers to help. Whether you’re an artist, writer, organizer, or someone simply looking to get involved, there’s a place for you here.

Artist Solidarity Crew

Support artists in prison directly by responding to the creative and professional needs they’ve identified. Volunteers on this team will work independently and collaboratively to:

  • Assist with online marketing and promotion of artwork

  • Help research and gather reference materials

  • Recommend and order art books from approved distributors

  • Provide critical feedback on creative work (visual and written)

  • Offer editing and publishing support

  • Identify and share exhibition, publishing, and commission opportunities

  • Help fundraise or contribute to costs

This is a great fit for creatives, educators, researchers, or anyone passionate about arts access and advocacy.
